It&rsquo;s name literally means paint named after its deep dark skin. It makes an intensely deep colored, high acid and strong flavored wine. It is one of the few grape varieties which actually have red color pigment in the pulp as well as the skin. Imeretian Sapravi is crisp, fruity and exciting.&nbsp; Imeretian Saperavi is easier drinking and less alcohol typically compared to Kakheti Saperavi. This is an exciting wine with lots of fruit, well integrated tannins and lively acidity.</span>
