Its name means “god approves”, and it was named by Islamic invaders who loved the wine so much they proclaimed that “God approves!” and therefore they’re allowed to drink this varietal. It produces lighter but flavorful wine which is fruity, spicy and a joy to drink. Decant and serve lightly chilled.
