STORY

Founded in 1989, Temi welcomes residents and children of all ages as an inclusive community center in addition to their winery. The winery owns 22 hectares of land, with approximately 7 hectares for organic vineyards, and they now have more than 70 residents along with international diplomatic corps and businesses regularly visiting. Local Saperavi and Rkatsiteli grape varieties are primarily harvested, all with organic and traditional Georgian methods. Temi’s wine has won awards in multiple domestic wine festivals, and they are a member of Georgia’s Natural Wine Association.

Temi sits in the foothills of the Caucasus Mountains overlooking the rich Alazani River Valley, in the northeast Kakheti Region of Georgia. The region is famous for its fertile climate for winemaking and annual high production rates across the valley, where several unique grape varieties thrive. Temi is approximately 120 kilometers east of Georgia’s capital Tbilisi.
