Nikalas Marani, originally built in 1928, has been making wine for many decades with traditional Georgian methods.
In 2005 the cellar was restored and has increased production since, producing up to 15,000 bottles of wine annually over a 5-hectare territory. They have vineyards in other nearby villages and farm organically, with no irrigation.
Nikalas Wine is a member of the Natural Wine Association.
