STORY
Apogios Cellar proudly upholds the traditions of Georgian winemaking, producing wine in qvevri with ancient methods. The winery’s location in the Kakheti region offers a thriving climate for the harvest and cultivation of several rare grape varietals indigenous to Kakheti. In 2017, the Apogios Cellar produced the following qvevri wines:
Saperavi – Traditional wine, fermented and aged in qvervi with the grape skins and pips.
Saperavi – Kakheti traditional wine, fermented and aged in qvervi with the grape skins, stems, and pips.
Rkatsiteli-Mtsvane – Kakheti traditional wine, fermented and aged in qvevri with the grape skins, stems, and pips.

Apogios Cellar is situated in Georgia's eastern Kakheti region famous for its fertile climate for winemaking. The winery sits east of the Tokhliauris Rike River in the foothills of the Caucasus, near the scenic Mariamjvari Nature Reserve.
