STORY
Founded in 2004, Zangaura is managed by the ‘Georgian Wines’ company, along with other vineyards. The ‘Georgian Wines’ company owns a total of 40 hectares of vineyards; the estate-grown and bottled wines have an intense aroma of wild berries, cherries and black plums. The ‘single vineyard’ wines reserve the original taste acquired from the terroir of those vineyards. Zangaura Winery also collaborates with other local businesses and seeks to produce fine wines with authentic Georgian techniques.

Situated in the foothills of the Caucasus Mountains, Zangaura overlooks the fertile Alazani River Valley in Georgia’s eastern Kakheti Region famous for its wine production. The climate in this region offers optimal conditions for the cultivation of several rare grape varietals.
