Kardanakhi Wine Factory has been producing wine since the late 19th century and has long been known for their unprecedented number of pitchers—seven hundred, holding as much as 1,000 tons of grapes.
Built in 1884 by a local prince, the factory has grown to cover 4 hectares and is currently producing 200,000-300,000 bottles of wine annually through traditional Kakhetian methods. They farm organically, additionally renting out local vineyards from nearby farmers.
