JSC Corporation Kindzmarauli
Corporation Kindzmarauli’s history dates back to 1533, and is connected with the construction of the historical Kvareli fortress in the region. The fortress’s wine cellar produced wine and molasses exclusively for the royal families for much of its history, and now has opened to the wider local and international market. Since the 70s, the vineyards have been passed through several owners, and changed into Joint Stock Company status. Corporation Kindzmarauli produces 600,000 bottles per year, exporting to 10 countries, and additionally produce cognac spirits. The company operates vineyards in nearby areas of Kakheti and produces wine under the label Duruji Valley Wine as well.

JSC Corporation Kindzmarauli is located in Georgia’s eastern Kakheti region famous for its wine making history and its climate’s rich conditions for cultivating several rare indigenous grape varieties. The winery rests with the Caucasus Mountains to the north and the fertile Alazani River Valley stretching eastward. The company’s vineyards are at an altitude of 400-500 meters above sea level along the Alazani River Valley. JSC Corporation Kindzmarauli owns four vineyards in the Kakheti region, with two in the Kindzmarauli microzone and two in the Kvareli area.
