STORY
Founded in 2010, Iberieli Wine Cellar is a family wine cellar with 10 hectares of vineyard in Georgia’s western Guria region and 5 hectares of vineyard in the eastern Kakheti region. Named after the ancient ancestors of native Georgians from the Caucasus and the first winemakers in recorded history, Iberieli holds to the historic Georgian methods of winemaking, raising and harvesting local grape varieties with organic processes. The family aims to reinstate and maintain the authentic Georgian methods of winemaking in Georgia, and they are now some of the leading winemakers in natural wine.
Iberieli is a member of the Natural Wine Association.
