STORY

Founded in 2011, the Georgian Vine Foundation’s goal is to multiply and popularize Georgian vine varieties. The Foundation brings together enthusiasts and winemakers to promote and popularize Georgian vine varieties by finding, cultivating, testing and distributing endangered Georgian vine varieties. No harmful herbicides and pesticides are used in the process of cultivating the grapes.

Since 2014 they been producing fine natural wines.

Since 2017, the Georgian Vine Foundation has been a member of the Georgian Natural Wine Association.

Village Bakurtsikhe, Gurjaani Municipality, Region Kakheti, Georgia

LAND

At an altitude of 500 meters above sea level, Vazisubani lies south of the Alazani River, in the fertile valley before the northern foothills of the Gombori Range. The 35 hectares are dedicated to Kahkuri Mtsvane, Saperavi, Rkatsiteli, Khikhvi, and Kisi grapes.
