STORY
The family winery owns 2ha vineyard, part of which is about 50 years old and the other part planted about 4 years ago. Rkatsiteli and Saperavi are the primary grape varietals being cultivated, with Qisi and Kakhuri Mtsvane to be cultivated in the near future. Davit Mikhelidze Family Cellar produces Rkatsiteli Qvevri wine, produced in the traditional Georgian method; and Saperavi, produced partly in Qvevri, and partly in the classical method. The wines are distinguished by the aroma and taste qualities, representing the terroir of its vineyards.
