Begaso embarked their their journey in the heart of the most famous of Georgian wine regions, planting 22 hectares of vineyards in 2015 in the heart of Kakheti.
Later, the Begaso winery was established in close proximity to the vineyard.
The family behind Begaso is thrilled to cultivate multiple varieties of grapes such as Saperavi, Kisi, Khikhvi, Mtsvane, Rkatsiteli and Rkatsiteli Rose.
All grapes are grown organically while they are working toward bio certification. With the Begaso winery in close proximity to the vineyard, it makes transportation of harvested grapes extremely effective for protecting the grapes
There are 20 qvevries with the capacity of 1,000-1,500 liters buried in the cellar of the winery. In the years to come, Begaso aims to increase the number of qvevries to meet future needs.
Beneath the cellar, we have a spacious storage room, enoteca. In addition to this, the winery has 10 spacious guest rooms featured with internet, TV, air conditioner, and heating.
Most importantly, the winery is operated by the family whose members are dedicated to hard work and providing an unforgettable experience for every guest visiting
The vineyard rests in the heart of the Kakheti wine region. All the grapes come from Begaso's own vineyards. The grapes are grown organically and they are working toward bio certification.
