Atenuri (or Ateni), Kakheti
Founded in 1937 as the first specialized enterprise producing sparkling wine in Georgia, Bagrationi is the leader of the Georgian sparkling wine market today. The company owns vineyards in Georgia’s famous winemaking regions of Kakheti, Kartli, and Imereti, cultivating several rare indigenous grape varietals that yield unique flavors and rich wines. Bagrationi is equipped with the latest modern technology and exports internationally while enjoying local success as well.
Bagrationi is situated in Georgia’s capital of Tbilisi, in the nation’s cultural and business center. The winery’s headquarters sit near the flowing Mtkvari River, and the city is south of the impressive Caucasus mountains. Bagrationi owns vineyards in the historic Kartli, Imereti, and Kakheti regions famous for their winemaking tradition and for their unique climates suited to cultivate rare grape varieties for production.
