Wines of Georgia will be producing a three-part series of virtual classes and tastings focused on the iconic Georgian wine region.

Hosted by Taylor Parsons with special guest winemaker Iago Bitarishvili of Iago’s Wines.

Georgian Wines 101 is designed as a broad overview of Georgia’s rich wine culture, beginning with its history and extending through its unique ampelography, socio-cultural context, regional stylistic variation and the rapid commercial and technical development that has occurred in recent years.

Four-ounce tasting pours of six different wines will be shipped to the first 50 licensed trade and media located in the U.S. to sign-up. All others will be sent. a link to join the class.

The seminar has an estimated run-time of 90 minutes.

The second and third seminars in the series will be held in early 2021.
