Zhuka-Sano Winery was established in 2015 when a married couple, Zhuka and Sano, moved from Tbilisi to Kakheti, bought an old vineyard and started organic wine production.
The wines are made in the traditional Georgian style, in the qvevri and bottled unfiltered. Some of the qvevris at the winery date back to 1907.
The winery harvests several local grape varieties with organic processes.
Zhuka-Sano Winery is a member of Georgia’s Natural Wine Association.
