Natenadze’s Wine Cellar
Giorgio Natenadze has been carefully studying and reviving as many as 40 local grape species, making rare wines naturally over a 3-hectare territory. Natenadze’s Wine Cellar uses organic processes, dry-farming all grapes manually with no irrigation used.
Village Akhaltsikhe, Akhaltsikhe Municipality, Region Samstkhe-Javakheti, Georgia
Located in the Meskheti Region in the Village Askhaltsikhe, Natenadze’s Wine Cellar’s vineyards sit as high as 1650 meters above sea level, where his wines are farmed wild from this volcanic mountainous region.
