Gocha Ichkitidze began Mukuzani Winery LLC with an ultra-modern vision in mind, planning to produce the finest natural wine through combining the latest modern technology with traditional Georgian winemaking methods. He plans to increase its capacity to 1 million bottles per year and uses fine Italian equipment for processing the grapes he grows. Mukuzani Winery’s vineyards are located in the Mukuzani microzone, and the winery practices modern and classical methods of winemaking.

Located in the Alazani River Plain, Mukuzani Winery sits at an elevation of 415 meters above sea level, overlooking the valley and upon the Caucasus Mountains to the north. The region’s unique climate cultivates perfect conditions for winemaking and its ancient history, as the village was first recorded in the 16th century.
