Founded in 2017, Mareli is a small, family-owned winery in the heart of Kakheti in the city of Telavi. The family dedicates themselves to their love for their region and its winemaking methods, so they continue to follow centuries-old Kakhetian wine traditions, making only qvevri wine. They currently harvest a 10-hectare vineyard to produce 10,000 bottles annually.

Mareli Winery rests in the foothills of the Gombori Mountain Range in Georgia’s eastern Kakheti region famous for its wine production. The winery overlooks the fertile Alazani River Valley and the Caucasus Mountains to the north.
Mareli has its own vineyards in the village Napareuli, where three main types of grapes, Rkatsiteli, Saperavi and Kakhuri Mtsvane are harvested every year. Sections of these vineyards are cared with modern Bio technologies as the winery anticipates production and release of special Bio Wine in the coming years. The wine cellar itself is located in Telavi Hotel Tela's ground floor, so visitors have a great place to stay nearby.
