STORY
Their family always was a family of winemakers and wheat growers. Since 2017, Dano Winery decided to brand our wine packaging and offer it to wine lovers.
Dano Winery has a qvevri (clay pitcher) in the cellar which was purchased by their great grandfather in 1899.
Their wines have repeatedly participated in the New Wine Festival.
They also export wine to the Netherlands.

LAND
Dano Winery has a 1-hectare vineyard. Their main variety is Rkatsiteli, but they also have Kakhuri Mtsvane, Buera, Saperavi, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon. They plant old Georgian grapes: Grdzelmtevana and Vardisperi (rose) Rkatsiteli. They do not use any herbicides or fertilizers and do not irrigate their vineyard. They use copper-based fungicides in small quantities.
