Babaneuris Marani produces wine with traditional Georgian methods dating back more than 8,000 years, as wines are fermented and aged in qvevri earthenware buried underground. The vineyard overlooks Kakheti’s major historic and cultural sites while wines are produced from Saperavi, Mtsvane, Kisi and Rkatsiteli grape varietals on their 11 hectare territory.

Babaneuris Marani is located in the foothills of the Caucasus Mountains overlooking Kakheti’s fertile Alazani River Valley, a region known for its rich climate and soils that offer good conditions for winemaking. Kakheti’s environment yields several rare grape varieties indigenous to the region.
